Anita completed her Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa and her post-graduate studies in Human Resources Management. She has spent her career working in employment services and workforce development. An experienced political and community organizer, she was the Ontario Liberal candidate in both the 2022 and 2025 provincial elections. Anita has been a Scarborough resident for over 35 years and lives in Rouge Park with her husband and three children.
